Plaza Salcedo, Vigan Ilocos Sur - A Spot to Chill with Beautiful Sunrise

Plaza Salcedo, one of the beautiful attraction of Vigan City. It is located on the front of Saint Paul Metropolitan Cathedral having its beautiful view of the church when you are on the plaza. It is known that this plaza is named after Juan de Salced, a spanish conqueror and a grandson of Miguel Lopez de Legazpi. The elliptical fountain area gives a wonderful dancing fountain with lights during night. 


Aside of the fountain area, the place also has benches and some spots where tourists and locals can take a rest and spend time talking and chilling out especially during morning. It is close to regional museum and beautiful tourist spots such as Calle Crisologo and Plaza Burgos. Fast food chain such as Jollibee, Chowking, and Mcdonalds is also near located across Burgos Aside of fast food chain, commercial complex and some banks also close to this place. It is good spot for meetup and tourist regrouping.

How to get there:

For this type of trip, you can rent a Van or any SUV if you are in a bigger group. It saves a lot of your budget. If you are in a smaller group or solo traveler, have a public transport from manila. Go to central bus station going to Northern Luzon.
