The Amulet Market is at Sanam Phra while on the other side of road is Wat Mahadtu Temple. This Amulet Market is where locals and tourists can buy different types of amulet or charm as protection against danger. Going to National Museum, Theatre, and Art Gallery, we pass through Thammasat University. We've been also to Memorial Expeditionary Force, Erawan Shrine, and Thailand Coin Museum. It takes a lot of walking for these spots since it is close to each other.

After this tiring walking tour, it is good to regain our energy by having snacks. Along Khao San Road, there are different stalls selling food in which we try the noodle as part of the Thai Culture. There are different stalls around since it is also an area for night market.

It is good to visit Khao San Road area at dinner time, because it is full of goods for shoppers. Take time to enjoy shopping and sightseeing.

How to get there:

Ride a boat express, then drop by at the station near the Temple of Emerald Buddha. Rate is 15 - 30 Baht.

or
